League of Emerging Health Activists
In support of APLA Health, LEHA will socially and financially engage like minded LGBTQ*+ young adults, leaders and professionals who are stake holders in ending the HIV/AIDS pandemic and eradicating stigma.
We will focus on being both a health and social well being group who owns their sexual health with as many organically networked activists as possible. Members are individuals in their 20s and 30s who have made a monthly gift of at least $5 or annual gift of $60 or more. Members are invited to social mixers, fundraisers and other events held at APLA Health’s Education Center and other locations.
The League of Emerging Health Activists (LEHA) seeks to change the perception of HIV/AIDS in all communities through acceptance, prevention, education, and outreach until the disease and its associated stigma are eradicated. We are building a community and supporting the mission and services of APLA Health, where HIV status and disclosure is part of a safe and open dialogue around sexual health. We do this by connecting knowledge, social networking, fundraising, and having community-building social events.

We will be going to Avalon Hollywood (1735 Vine St., Los Angeles 90028) for the all ages night (Tiger Heat) to share our mission and work. LEHA aims to empower emerging LGBTQ*+ and HIV leaders and allies to eradicate stigma and shape their community’s future in support of APLA Health. We do this by partnering with other organizations, grass roots events, social media campaigns and peer to peer knowledge and network sharing.
