Teresa is a compassionate licensed therapist recognized by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. She earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, San Diego campus, in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University in 2010.
Having worked alongside BIPOC communities from Los Angeles to the Tijuana border since 2013, Teresa has extensive experience providing culturally and linguistically appropriate support to patients. As a bilingual provider, she offers therapy sessions in English, Spanish, or Spanglish.
Teresa firmly believes in the importance of trauma-informed care and consistently engages in thoughtful practices while working with individuals who are dealing with various mental health issues. She provides support with a focus on tangible, positive, therapeutic outcomes with her patients.
In her work, Teresa is passionate about connecting with patients who come from communities with multiple challenges and complex histories. Guided strongly by her value of equity, she strives to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all her patients.
