Employee Resource Groups

When employees join together based on common interests, they can foster a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with the organizations they serve.

Employee Resource Groups (also known as ERGs or affinity groups) are voluntary, employee-led groups who join together based on common interests, backgrounds or demographic factors. Their aim is to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with the organizations they serve.

Are you part of an ERG in your workplace? Here are a few ways we can work together for conversation and engagement.

Collaborating on your events: Have our program leaders and experts share their insights on panel discussions, at special events (virtual), and ERG meetings.
Support HIVE (HIV Elders) group events: This group made up of survivors of the epidemic in the LA area serves the informational and social needs of this community and most are the recipients of our food pantry and hygiene drives through the Necessities of Life Program.
Trans Wellness events: An HIV prevention program for trans folks ages 18-29. APLA offers incentivized testing, linkage to care, fun events, and more!
AIDS Walk: Join our AIDS Walk fundraiser for a team-building experience and opportunity to compete with your coworkers and other teams in physical activities, gaming, and virtual events.
