“APLA Health is proud to congratulate the Honorable Ketanji Brown Jackson on her appointment as the 116th Justice of the United States Supreme Court, the first Black woman and first public defender to ever hold this position. This is a proud moment in our shared history and ‘herstory’ in action. Having served at all levels of the justice system, Judge Jackson’s impressive and extensive breadth of legal experience simply speaks for itself.
