Mental health plays an important role in your health overall.

We take care of your mind as well as we take care your body. Stepping toward improving your mental health can be both exciting and challenging!
At APLA Health, we provide a comprehensive range of mental and behavioral health services fully integrated within our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) model of care.

Our multidisciplinary team includes licensed clinical psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and licensed marriage and family therapists, as well as Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSWs) and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) who deliver care under the supervision of licensed professionals in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Our clinicians can help with a wide range of behavioral health needs, including:
Managing depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress-related conditions
Enhancing interpersonal relationships and communication
Supporting coping and resilience for grief, loss, or life transitions
Reducing or eliminating the use of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and other addictive behaviors
Promoting emotional regulation, self-care, and overall well-being
APLA Health offers outpatient services such as:
Individual therapy sessions
Confidential assessments, consultations, and intakes
Integration with your medical care team
Referrals for more intensive services, if needed

Behavioral health services are available in person and via telehealth at all APLA Health clinic sites for your convenience. Services are closely coordinated with our primary care team to promote whole-person, patient-centered care.

This integrated, team-based approach expands access to behavioral health services, supports the HRSA mission of equitable and comprehensive care, and contributes directly to improved patient outcomes across our service area.
