Our Out Here Sexual Health locations offer fast, convenient, and free or low-cost sexual health services by and for the LGBTQ+ community in the heart of L.A. County.

PrEP

PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis) is a medicine regimen for anyone who wants to stay HIV-negative. PrEP can stop HIV from taking hold and spreading throughout your body.

If you are sexually active, be sure to get tested for HIV at least every six months and make screening for STDs a normal part of your checkup. Talk with one of our medical providers for a schedule that’s right for you.

DoxyPEP

DoxyPEP means taking the antibiotic doxycycline after sex to prevent getting a sexually transmitted infection (STI). It is a morning-after pill for STIs.

HIV Testing

Getting tested regularly for HIV is one of the best ways to stay healthy and safe. One in seven people who are living with HIV don’t know it, and most HIV infections are transmitted by people who do not know their status. Testing for HIV is easy and quick.

PEP

PEP means taking antiretroviral medicines after being potentially exposed to HIV to prevent becoming infected. PEP must be started within 72 hours after a recent possible exposure to HIV, but the sooner you start PEP, the better.

Vaccines

Gay and bisexual men should receive all vaccines based on their age and health status. It’s important to stay up-to-date on vaccinations to prevent illnesses.
