We're Here for You

2.11.2025

At APLA Health, we know that access to care is being threatened in ways we haven’t seen in years. Policies are changing, funding is under attack, and harmful rhetoric is being used to justify rolling back essential protections. These threats aren’t abstract—they have real consequences for the health and well-being of our community.

We want you to know that we see what’s happening, and we are not backing down. No matter what new obstacles arise, we remain committed to providing care that is affirming, high-quality, and rooted in the belief that everyone has a right to be healthy.

We also recognize that uncertainty is difficult, and we don’t want anyone to feel alone in trying to understand what’s happening. As we learn more about potential policy changes, we commit to keeping you consistently informed of funding updates and legal developments, ensuring you have the information you need to stay informed and prepared.

We are actively working alongside advocates, community leaders, and policymakers to push back against attacks on LGBTQ+ health and HIV care. Whether it’s fighting for funding, challenging harmful laws, or ensuring our voices are heard in every possible space, we are committed to protecting and expanding access to the care our community relies on.

Since our founding in 1983, our commitment to this work has never wavered. Our community deserves comprehensive, accessible healthcare, and we will continue to fight for that future—through advocacy, education, and by showing up for our community every single day.

Thank you for your trust. We’re in this together.
