Welcome to APLA Health’s Women Together Program – a vibrant and supportive community where women living with HIV can connect, share experiences, and find resources that truly matter.

Our program offers a variety of fun and meaningful activities designed to promote social connection, self-care, and empowerment.

Whether you're looking to engage in lively tea and coffee chats, bond over films in our theatre and movie clubs, or participate in workshops on stress reduction and life skills, we have something for everyone. These activities are more than just fun—they create a safe space for conversations and peer support, helping women build strong, supportive networks.

We also provide valuable health education workshops like HIV Matters for Her, which focuses on women's health and well-being. Our Mindfulness workshops help reduce stress, and our Life Skills sessions offer practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.

Women have been profoundly impacted by HIV since the early days of the epidemic, and thankfully are now able to live long, full lives. The unique challenges that women with HIV face are close to our hearts, and we are here to help you feel supported at every stage of your journey.

The mission of the Women Together Program is to provide access to critical health resources and reduce social isolation. We want women with HIV in Los Angeles County to feel empowered, informed, and surrounded by a strong, caring community. Women's HIV Resource Guide

This resource guide represents a partnership between the Women Together program at APLA Health, the Women’s Caucus of the Los Angeles Commission on HIV, and the LA Women’s HIV Task Force.

We have included medical and maternal health clinics specializing in women’s health, where to access mental health, substance use and social support and help with legal, nutritional needs, jobs and transportation, among other categories of interest to women with HIV in Los Angeles County.
